Description
FL Enamel Factory’s new masterpiece, Micro-Painted Enamel Series
Movement: Meticulously replicated Cal.240 movement, equipped with a custom-made version of the native two-hand pearl tourbillon movement, greatly reducing the failure rate. The movement consists of 315 parts, 12 bridges, 45 jewels, operates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour, and offers a maximum power reserve of 48 hours.
Case: The elegantly versatile Calatrava round case is understated, with a diameter of 38.6 millimeters suitable for the average male wrist.
Dial: The micro-painted enamel dial requires the use of brushes with sable hair traits (about half the thickness of human hair) and is magnified under high-powered microscopes for painting. Each layer of paint must be fired at high temperatures (around 800°C) to intensify the colors until they emit a dazzling brilliance. During the production process, variations in brush strokes, changes in pigments, and temperature settings at different stages can lead to issues such as discoloration, cracking, deformation, and air bubbles on the dial, resulting in a very high rejection rate. However, the finished micro-painted enamel dial remains unaffected by the passage of time, maintaining the same vibrant appearance as when it first came out of the kiln, without any oxidation for millennia.
The endangered art of micro-painted enamel, meticulously reproduced by the FL factory, is a timeless classic.
